Garden Ground Screws / Tent & Tarp Anchors
Secure your tarps, garden fleece, weed control fabric, tent groundsheets, or protective covers quickly and reliably with these durable 3D printable ground screws.
The screws are designed with a pronounced, aggressive thread that allows them to grip firmly in soil, raised beds, or loose ground while remaining easy to install and remove. With a total length of 100 mm, they provide excellent holding power for a wide range of outdoor applications.
A large 50 mm top plate distributes pressure evenly across the material, helping to prevent tarps, fleece, or covers from tearing — even in windy conditions. Perfect for securing:
- Garden fleece and plant covers
- Weed barrier fabric
- Tarps and protective sheets
- Tent groundsheets and light tents
- Outdoor covers and landscaping fabrics
The screws can easily be installed by hand, but for harder soil conditions they also feature an integrated size 8 hex socket (Allen/Inbus) drive for fast installation using a hex key or tool.
Included are optional protective caps for the hex socket to keep dirt, mud, and debris out during outdoor use.
Printing Recommendations
PETG is strongly recommended due to its superior UV and weather resistance compared to PLA, especially for long-term outdoor use.
