Tired of your robot vacuum getting stuck under the couch or avoiding it entirely? This fully parametric furniture riser allows you to lift your sofa, bed, or chairs to the exact height needed for a robot vacuum to pass underneath seamlessly.

The best part? You don't need any 3D modeling experience to modify it. Using the built-in MakerWorld Parametric Model Maker (Customizer), you can input the exact diameter of your furniture legs so that they slot perfectly into the top hole for a secure, wiggle-free fit.

 

⚙️ How to Customize Your Riser

Simply click the "Customize" button on MakerWorld and adjust the following parameters to match your furniture:

  • Leg_Diameter: Measure the thickness of your couch or bed leg and adjust clearance in its own tab
  • Extra_Clearance_Height: The exact height you need to add to your furniture so your vacuum can clear it.
  • Wall_Thickness: Controls the thickness of the lip around the furniture leg. 
  • Pocket_Depth: How deep the couch leg sits inside the riser (Recommended: 15mm–20mm to prevent tipping).

 

🛠️ Recommended Print Settings

Because furniture risers hold significant weight, do not use standard draft settings.

  • Material: PLA+ / Tough PLA or PETG
  • Infill Density: 40% to 60% (Grid, Gyroid, or Honeycomb for compressive strength).
  • Wall Loops: 4 to 6 walls (Crucial for vertical load-bearing strength).
  • Top/Bottom Layers: 5 layers.
