Root Lizard Cult Insert, Card Box + Tray (RBGS-R)

Root Lizard Cult Insert (RBGS-R), card box + meeple tray

This is a storage module for the Lizard Cult faction (from the Root Underworld expansion). It tiles into the official Root box as part of the Root Board Game System. There are two parts: an open-top card box that the faction's cards slide into, and a drawer that nests on top and holds the meeples and tokens.

What I changed from the original

This is a remix of David A's Root Remixed Lizard Cult Insert (RBGS-R). I made three changes:

1. Added a Standard tray for the non-chunky meeples. David's tray suits the chunky (newer) Root meeples. I've added a Standard tray for the older, thinner ones. To work out which one you need, line up 8 of your meeples and measure their thickness. If it's about 63.6 mm, go with the Standard tray. If it's more than that, use the Chunky tray.
2. Moved an awkward token slot. In the original, one tile slot sat right against the drawer face, so those tiles were hard to get out. I've moved it to a spot that's easier to reach.
3. Opened up the card well. My sleeved card didn't quite fit the original well, and it rubbed against the drawer. I've widened the well a little, so sleeved cards now sit cleanly.

I've split the print profile into two plates, Standard and Chunky. Just print the one that matches your meeples.

• STEP files (exact geometry, so you can re-slice at any quality), plus a sliced Bambu Studio profile
