Description

A simple pocket size case for the Heltec T096 and Wireless Tracker V2. This does not require any screws, only some glue if you wish to use the optional faceplate. There is also a solar version of this case.

When fitting the SMA connector through the hole do not use any washers inside the case. Where the SMA cable fits there is a hex cut-out to stop the connector spinning when tightening the antenna. On the side where the antenna connects use the standard washer and nut. This case will only accept narrow antennas such as the short rubber duck type.

The battery compartment can hold a 2000mAh battery, size: 52mm x 34mm x 10mm

The Heltec node slides onto rails inside the case and the Top Slide Cover prevents it from moving and protects the USB. The Bottom Slide Cover fits in the slot under the antenna.

The Faceplate and buttons are optional, this requires glue to fit to the front of the case.

The Solar Case uses a 60mm x 30mm 5V solar panel. This tiny panel will not fully charge your device, it can only slightly extend the battery life.
Do not let your solar node/battery get too hot! The solar panel has a small gap between the panel holder and the case to help disperse heat but will still get hot if the case is left in direct sunlight. The solar case also has loop holes on the top if you wish to attach it to something like a backpack.
