I've turned the Survival Multitool from Subnautica 2 into reality! šŸ’«šŸ’«šŸ’«

It's roughly 16cm or 6inch long and isn't just for display, but is a cool fidget toy you can play with when bored.

You can spin the tool as well as fold out and unfold the blade like in the Subnautica too. šŸŽ®šŸŽ®šŸŽ®

Update! Now you can print this model on all printers with and without AMS!

I've attempted to print another version of this from a different creator, and while good, there were issues with the print due to just the nature of the orientation and overall design that needed to be worked out....but THIS just WORKS even scaled up! You're a legend, friend!

Extremely fun and easy to assemble. Parts did fit everywhere but in some places a bit loosely. I will need some glue to hold the yellow top part in piece. Great model although I would have enjoyed a bigger version more I think... Still very cool and does resemble the tool very well!

Thanks for the comment! If you want a bigger version you can scale it up - I just thought some people would like a quicker cheaper version.

Well... from the print files? If you can't find it maybe try another profile? Maybe there's an error? I didn't add to the design, it is the original.

This model works beautifly and even thou I didn't have an AMS nor yellow filament, it still looks cool. Some things to improve would be: The blade is a little less secure than I would like it to be and it would be nice if there would be a "folded in" position for the blade. Anyway, overall a nicely made model for those who love subnautica and like fidgeting once in a while!

Hey, I wanted to try it with an X2D. However, BambuStudio gives an error message that some part objects are floating and indicates this as an error during slicing. And for the objects it says, for example: Error: 1 (& 6 & 7) non-manifold edges Do I need to adjust this? :)

Just enable supports for the required objects that give the "floating region" error. for the non manifold edges error, it usually doesnt affect printing, but just in case, check that there aren't any missing regions out of the print

very well designed I needed no glue and still had that solid design I like in one part prints but I do think the hole could be a bit bigger for people like me who have sausage fingers
