𪰠Chasme Miniature â Drone of Endless Torment
This miniature is part of the Monster Manual 2024 Collection, a series of iconic creatures faithfully reimagined as dynamic, tabletop-ready sculpts.
The Chasme is a horrifying fusion of demon and insect, an Abyssal predator that spreads exhaustion, madness, and death through its relentless droning presence. Resembling a grotesque humanoid fly, it exists to hunt weakened prey and feast upon suffering.
Where other demons revel in chaos, the Chasme thrives on decay.
This miniature captures the fiend low to the ground in a tense, predatory stance.
Its insectoid body crouches forward on elongated limbs tipped with razor-like claws, giving the creature the appearance of a scavenger ready to spring upon dying prey. The posture feels unnaturally animalistic, more insect than humanoid.
Its head dominates the sculpt, featuring oversized compound eyes and a long, needle-like proboscis extending downward from its face. The feeding tube is thick and reinforced to preserve durability while still conveying the horrifying anatomy of the creature.
Behind the head rises a rough crest of bristling spines and coarse insectoid texture, reinforcing the fiendâs diseased and parasitic appearance.
Four translucent insect wings extend outward from its back in a layered arrangement. The wings are sculpted thick enough for reliable printing while retaining the fragile visual character of buzzing fly wings.
