Description

A simple educational electromagnetic motor powered by a battery, copper coil, and magnet.
Perfect for learning the basics of electricity, magnetism, and motor mechanics.
Designed as an easy beginner electronics project with a clean 3D printed base.

How to Build:

This simple electromagnetic motor works by using a battery, a copper wire coil, and a permanent magnet to create rotational movement. First, bend two paper clips so they can hold the coil while still allowing it to spin freely. Attach the paper clips to the battery or the 3D-printed holder using electrical tape, making sure they are stable and properly aligned. Next, create a coil by winding insulated copper wire into a circular shape with around 6–10 turns, leaving two wire ends sticking out on each side. Carefully remove the insulation from the wire ends: only strip the insolation from one site this is impotent if done on both it wont function. This allows the electric current to switch on and off during rotation, which keeps the motor spinning. Place the coil into the paper clip supports so it can rotate with minimal friction. Then position a permanent magnet directly underneath the coil. Once the battery is connected, give the coil a small push with your finger. The magnetic field generated by the current inside the coil interacts with the permanent magnet, causing the coil to continuously rotate and creating a simple electric motor.

Make sure to gloe the permamagnet in the 3d printet part make sore to put it far back then position your batteri construction in the cube form amd adjust it so the coil can spin freely. (use a AA Batterie and a magnet with not more than 32mm in demiter and not more than 7mm in hight for tape i used insolation tape but you can use wha you want the copper wire is around 75 cm you can also use all filaments you want except  maybe tpu i used petg but other will work to)
