Ampoule Opener for Nurses - Version 2.0 Ergonomic
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is the improved 2.0 version of the ampoule opener, redesigned to provide a safer and more ergonomic solution for opening glass ampoules in daily clinical practice.
Compared to the previous version, the design has been optimized to enhance grip and control during use. The central ergonomic groove allows for a more stable and intuitive hold, facilitating both the opening and closing phases of the device.
During ampoule breaking, the glass top remains securely trapped inside the opener, reducing the risk of it popping off and helping prevent finger injuries.
To release the broken ampoule piece, simply reduce the pressure on the central groove, allowing the fragment to fall out in a controlled way.
The model is easy to 3D print and designed to be both functional and durable.
Suitable for personal use by nurses, nursing students, and healthcare professionals.
Recommended materials:
- PETG or TPU for better flexibility, durability, and grip
- PLA can be used, but will result in a more rigid tool
Suggested print settings:
- Layer height: 0.12 mm
- Infill: 10%
- Supports: required (tree supports recommended)
- Orientation: flat side on the build plate
