Kotto Dryer Hose Exhaust Adapter
Print Profile(1)

Description
I'm working in a research lab with really expensive analytical equipment and needed a way to solder within the building without setting off the fire alarm and sprinklers. So I designed this adapter for the kotto fume extractor to be able to vent through an exhaust pipe to the outside of the building. We had some spare 100 mm aluminum dryer hose from a different project and this was the final product. I did have to remove the base of the kotto fume extractor to fit it into the base, but adjusted the adapter afterwards. This design may require you to do so as well, so just be aware that it may not be a perfect fit right off the print bed. If you do decide to print this for extracting fumes from your workspace and happen to find some adjustments that will benefit the design please let me know and I will make the changes based on the number of recommendations. I printed this on an H2D which made it easier to print in its print profile layout. It is laid out this way in order to maintain the holes true, as printing upright may cause the holes to become oblong. Print at your own risk, and avoid leaving a bad review before trying to make it fit. As you can see from the pictures I was able to make it fit without the adjustments. Just had to drill out the screw holes a bit bigger and remove the kotto box base plate. If you are interested in this model and would like the other end of the hose adapter that converts it to a 1inch pipe BSD thread, then let me know and I will add a print profile for that as well.
