A fully functional, regulation-size 3D printed basketball hoop designed around a cable-tensioned PETG-CF rim.

The rim is built from multiple burgundy PETG-CF segments that are connected with blue PETG connector pieces. During assembly, the vertical TPU net parts are inserted directly between the ring segments. A 2 mm stainless steel cable runs through the inside of the rim and is strongly pre-tensioned with an M6 screw and nut, giving the hoop its stiffness and strength.

The white TPU damper sits between the rim and the rear mounting part to absorb impact when the ball hits the rim. The flexible TPU net is completed after the rim has been tensioned.
