A classic force-saving pulley system, including a fixed pulley and a movable pulley, as well as matching rope attachment points.
This pulley system model intuitively demonstrates the principle of saving effort and changing the direction of force when movable and fixed pulleys are combined. It features a modular design, allowing for free adjustment of the number of pulleys and comparison of changes in pulling force. The structure is lightweight and the demonstration is clear, making it suitable for classroom exploration of mechanical efficiency, aiding in understanding the relationship between work and force, and enhancing the effectiveness of physics experimental teaching.
You can also lower hanging basket planters for easy watering and trimming, further appreciating the relationship between physics knowledge and real-life scenarios.
Features:
- High-strength design, printed flat.
- Super smooth wheels. Low-friction design, concentric top surface, bracket with top rim.
- Can be fixed with double-sided tape or by drilling holes.
- The fixed pulley bracket has a rope hole, allowing for normal knotting or threading through the hole to secure a knot.
Installation Instructions:
- Each 【wheel axle】 requires cutting the filament and inserting it by hand or with pliers.
- If insertion is difficult, ream the hole (with an awl or pointed scissors); if too loose, flatten and widen the end with pliers.
Dimensions:
- If using 3cm double-sided tape, use M3 flat-head screws for screw fixation. The pulley is compatible with soft ropes up to 5mm (preferably below 3mm, as the rope hole is 3mm). The inner diameter of the movable pulley hook is 14mm.
Parts:
- Currently includes the following parts: wheel, fixed pulley frame, movable pulley frame, rope end fastener. Each item comes in two sizes; you can choose the parts you need to print.
