Description

This Montessori-inspired sensory plug puzzle is designed for pretend play, fine motor practice, and dexterity building. This 3D-printed activity board features engaging plug-in/out interactions, cable clips, and an optional cord setup. It includes multiple plug types from around the world, a mechanical rocker switch, and a universal travel socket that fits all the included plugs.

Beyond early childhood development, this model is also an excellent tool for adults in Occupational Therapy or anyone needing fine motor skill and dexterity rehabilitation.

Educational & Collaborative Play This puzzle is designed to be a collaborative activity. Use it alongside your child to practice fine motor skills while actively teaching them about household safety and the difference between toys and real wall outlets.

Printing & Assembly Instructions

  • Durability: The non-AMS version is stronger and highly recommended for durability, as the prongs are printed flat on the build plate.
  • Assembly: Assemble the necessary parts using superglue to avoid loose small parts.
  • Cords: The cable cord shown in the photos can be purchased on Amazon, or you can substitute it with any suitable string or paracord.

⚠️ SAFETY NOTICE: This model is designed strictly for supervised pretend play and dexterity practice. Do not leave children unattended with this toy. Parents should ensure their actual home outlets are properly childproofed with safety covers before introducing this puzzle. Not for use with real electrical outlets.

Cool design but should we really be teaching children to play with outlets??

This can actually be very good for kids who feel a compulsion to do it.

If kids can handle toy knives in their play kitchens without turning into tiny chefs in the real one, they can handle this. I think the intention of the toy meant for safe pretend play and doesn't replace standard kids proof outlet covers or basic parenting.

Because teaching children that something that looks like this is a TOY seems like a BRILLIANT idea. 🔌⚡💀🪦🤦‍♂️ Please take this model down before you get a CHILD KILLED

Excellent design! I don't understand why it's assumed to be for children; it could be for elderly people with psychomotor difficulties or for someone who had hand surgery and needs rehabilitation. It's for practicing grip and coordination. Thanks for the design

This is cool looking but scary… and could inspire harm, maybe keys to locks, or something?

Your idea is very good I liked it people are too caught up in what can and cannot be done without worrying about the benefits a simple toy like this brings I am a qualified educator and can list some of these benefits if you wish In addition this game also serves seniors to work on skill and motor development

lol, I’m 42 and playing this game every time my plug gets knocked out of the wall under the bed… on second thought, this could be a good development toy for older children/adults, maybe change the suggested age
