Description

At the time, the Dometic GO Hydration Water Faucet was over $100, and I just couldn’t justify spending that much on something I’d only use every now and then while camping. So I decided to make my own instead.

With all the materials combined, the whole build came out to under $50 USD. Everything is press-fit together, but I glued the magnets in place just for extra security. The magnets let the faucet snap right onto the base mounted over the cap, while still allowing the faucet to rotate.

My favorite part is that the quick disconnect fitting connects directly to the Dometic GO Hydration Water Jug just like the OEM one, which makes setup at camp really simple and convenient.
