Description

Inspired by the classic LEGOs Brick minifigure utensil cup (part 3899), this model is scaled up 11× to create a functional mug-style holder for standard aluminium beverage cans.

Perfectly fit standard:

  • 330ml cans
  • 500ml cans
  • 568ml pint cans

The oversized handle makes the can comfortable to hold while keeping your drink insulated from direct hand contact.

The model also includes a matching desk-mounted holder/clamp that can be attached to the edge of a desk or table. The holder features two Brick-style support pins (top and bottom) that securely lock the mug into position and prevent accidental tipping or sliding while keeping the mug easily removable when needed.

Features

  • Based on classic Brick utensil cup part 3899
  • Scaled ×11 from the original minifigure accessory
  • Fits most standard drink cans
  • Large ergonomic handle
  • Includes desk-mounted holder/clamp
  • Dual support pins for secure mug positioning
  • Great desk accessory for LEGOs funs.

Printing Notes

The model includes 2 print profiles:

  • CoreXY printers
  • Bambu Lab A1 printers

A1 Printers

For the support interface layer, I do not recommend using PETG as interface material. During printing, the handle can become unstable because of Y-axis movement and may detach or fail mid-print.

Recommended:

  • PLA support interface
  • Slower speeds(100-200 mm/s) and accelerations (2000-3000 mm/s2)

CoreXY Printers

CoreXY printers are much more stable for this geometry, so you can use any support interface material without issues, including PETG interface layers.

Assembly

Print, glue pins, and use directly — no hardware required.
