Description
This is a complete 1:10 scale rim and tire set, designed specifically for RC cars (such as Crawlers and Scale Trucks). The design has been optimized for FDM 3D printing, ensuring an excellent balance between aesthetic detail, realism, and durability for use on tracks or off-road terrains
The photos show the actual result mounted on a functional model and the quality you can achieve directly from your printer
Printing Details and Recommended Materials:
- Rim: Printed in PETG HF (High Flow). PETG provides the necessary rigidity and impact resistance to withstand the stresses of the RC model, while maintaining a clean finish on the rim's spokes and central fittings
- Tire: Printed in TPU 95A HF. This flexible filament gives the tire the ideal elasticity to replicate the behavior of a real rubber tire, ensuring excellent traction on uneven surfaces, rocks, and mud, without losing the aggressive tread details
Suggested Settings:
- Layer heights: 0.16mm or 0.20mm for a good compromise between print time and definition of print lines
- Walls (Wall loops): 3 to 4 to ensure structural robustness
- Infill: 15% to 25% (you can adjust the TPU tire infill to make it softer or firmer, depending on the weight of your RC car)
