Compact Picatinny-mounted thumb rest designed to improve rifle control, consistency, and ergonomics during supported or unsupported shooting.
Provides a comfortable and repeatable thumb position for better weapon handling and recoil management.
Full Description
This model is a compact thumb rest / thumb shelf designed for rifles equipped with a standard Picatinny rail.
It was mainly designed for precision-oriented shooting setups, DMRs, and tactical-style rifles, but also works very well on AR platforms and similar systems.
The ergonomic curved surface gives the support hand a natural and repeatable resting point, helping with:
- Rifle control
- Hand positioning consistency
- Comfort during long range sessions
- Better leverage during positional shooting
- Improved weapon indexing
The shape was intentionally kept compact and smooth to avoid snagging while still offering enough surface area for proper thumb placement.

For best durability and heat resistance:
Recommended Materials
- PETG
- PETG-CF
- PA-CF
- PA-GF
- Other reinforced engineering filaments
Standard PLA may work for light use or testing, but reinforced materials are strongly recommended for real-world use.
Recommended Print Settings
- Nozzle: 0.4 mm
- Layer Height: 0.2–0.28 mm
- Walls: 4–6
- Infill: 40–100%
- Supports: Minimal supports only
- Orientation: As provided in the files
