Compact Surface Skimmer for Bestway & Intex Pools (150-160mm)
This simple two-part surface skimmer keeps your pool surface free of leaves, insects, and dirt
It was specifically designed for Bestway and Intex above-ground pools and fits directly into the standard suction channel
You can also place chlorine tablets directly into the skimmer. They dissolve quickly and are then easier to handle
🛠️ Design & Function
The model consists of two precisely fitting parts:
- Body (Main housing): Is inserted directly into the pool's suction channel
- Sieve (Basket): Fits perfectly into the body's opening and catches dirt
- The sieve is easily removable for cleaning
- The size was deliberately limited to 160mm so that the skimmer does not interfere with swimming

- Compatibility: Commercial Bestway and Intex above-ground pools
🖨️ Print Recommendations
- Material: PETG recommended due to UV resistance and chlorine resistance). PETG has lasted a whole season for me and even longer!
- I haven't tried it with PLA yet, but I could imagine it would last a season
- Infill: 15 - 20% (Irrelevant, because wall thickness is decisive!)
- Walls: At least 3 wall lines for maximum stability
- Support: Support needed for body and inlay
