EV Type 2 Plug and Cable Wall Holder
Designed for outdoor EV charging setups and optimized for 3D printing in ASA or ABS. It can also be printed in PLA or PETG.
My own PLA version has been mounted outdoors for over 3 years and is still holding up perfectly fine.
This is a reinforced remix of the original IEC 62196 Type 2 EV plug and cable holder design.
The model has been modified to improve durability, mounting strength, and cable clearance for thicker charging cables.
Changes made in this remix:
- Increased Z height (105%) for additional cable space
- Reinforced mounting base for improved wall stability
- Added countersunk screw holes to reduce stress and minimize cracking during installation
- Improved screw seating for cleaner mounting
