The project just received a new modular customization upgrade.

After testing the new stand design, I found that the updated controller holder works great with both Xbox-style controllers and PS5 controllers.
For this reason, the new version is now designed as a UNIVERSAL STAND, so you no longer need to choose between a separate Xbox or PS5 upgraded stand.

The new universal stand has a redesigned front area made for custom decorative plates.
This allows you to personalize the front of the controller stand with different badges, logos, names, racing-style designs, console-themed plates or your own custom look.

The original Xbox and PS5 stands are still included in the 3MF file and are now marked as OLD, so you can still use the previous versions if you prefer the original design.

New print profiles have also been added:

The goal is to let users create their own front plates with custom text, names, nicknames or simple personalized designs.

The OpenSCAD customizer is planned to be published by the end of the week.

The project just got even better.

Top surface ironing has been added to improve the final print quality and give the upper layers a smoother, cleaner and more refined finish.

This update helps the model look more polished, especially on visible top surfaces, making it even better for a gaming desk, shelf or setup corner.

A new PS5 support version has also been added, giving you more flexibility depending on your setup and the controller/display style you want to use.

🔥 UPDATE – PAGODA TOWER HEADSET HOLDER ADD-ON

The project just got bigger.

A new optional Pagoda Tower Headset Holder Add-On has been added, turning this controller stand into a complete gaming display for both your controller and headset.

The add-on is fully modular, so you can print it together with the main model or add it later if you have already printed the original Torii Gate controller stand.

The headset holder fits into the existing mounting points of the Torii Gate base, keeping the original design clean while adding a taller Japanese-style pagoda tower behind the torii structure.

Bring your gaming setup to the next level with this Horizon 6 inspired universal controller stand.

This model is designed as a bold display piece for gaming setups, combining a racing-inspired look with a Japanese Torii Gate background. The black, red, pink and white color combination gives it a strong visual impact and makes it perfect for a desk, shelf, game room or setup corner.

The front holder keeps your controller nicely displayed, while the raised HORIZON 6 logo on the base adds a clean and aggressive visual detail.

🧩 MODULAR DESIGN

This project was designed to be flexible.

You can use the main model as a controller display stand, or upgrade it with the Pagoda Tower add-on to create a full controller and headset display.

The add-on can be printed later, so there is no need to reprint the entire model if you already have the original version.

The new universal customizable stand adds another level of modularity: one upgraded stand can now be used with both Xbox-style and PS5 controllers.

You can choose between the old original stand versions or the new universal version with a flat front area designed for custom decorative plates.

This makes it easier to match the stand with your setup, your controller, your favorite theme, or your personal style.

🎨 CUSTOM FRONT PLATES

The new custom front plate system allows you to personalize the front of the stand with separate printable badges.

You can use the included badge/logo plates or create your own style later with the upcoming OpenSCAD generator.

The badge/logo plates are printed separately and can be glued onto the front area of the new universal stand version.

🎨 COLOR SUGGESTION

For the best result, I recommend printing the model in multiple colors:

• Black for the base, controller holder, pagoda roofs and details
• Red for the Torii Gate structure and pagoda tower body
• Pink for the HORIZON 6 logo details
• White for the logo insert
• Green, blue, white or any accent color for custom front plates

This color combination gives the model a strong gaming look while keeping the Japanese-inspired style clearly visible.

🖨️ PRINT NOTES

Make sure your build plate is clean for the best first layer quality, especially on the base, logo parts and larger flat surfaces.

Top surface ironing is recommended for a cleaner and smoother finish on visible upper surfaces.

The Pagoda Tower headset holder add-on is designed to fit into the existing mounting points of the Torii Gate base.

You can print the add-on together with the full model, or later as a separate upgrade.

The new universal stand is designed to fit both Xbox-style and PS5 controllers.

The custom front badges are designed to be printed separately and glued onto the front area of the new universal stand version.

You can use super glue, thin double-sided tape or another suitable adhesive depending on your material and finish.

If you prefer the original design, the old Xbox and PS5 stand versions are still included and marked as OLD in the 3MF file.

Il progetto riceve un nuovo upgrade modulare dedicato alla personalizzazione.

Dopo aver testato il nuovo stand, ho notato che il supporto aggiornato funziona molto bene sia con controller stile Xbox che con controller PS5.
Per questo motivo, la nuova versione è ora pensata come STAND UNIVERSALE, quindi non è più necessario scegliere tra uno stand Xbox e uno stand PS5 aggiornato separati.

Il nuovo stand universale ha una parte frontale ridisegnata, pensata per applicare targhette decorative personalizzate.
In questo modo puoi personalizzare il frontale dello stand con loghi, nomi, nickname, grafiche racing, targhette a tema console o design personali.

Gli stand Xbox e PS5 originali sono ancora inclusi nel file 3MF e sono stati indicati come OLD, così chi preferisce le versioni precedenti può continuare a utilizzarle.

Sono stati aggiunti nuovi profili di stampa:

Molto presto arriverà anche un generatore OpenSCAD personalizzabile direttamente in questa pagina del progetto.

🔥 UPDATE – 5 GIUGNO 2026 – MIGLIORAMENTO QUALITÀ DI STAMPA + SUPPORTO PS5

Il progetto è stato migliorato ulteriormente.

È stata aggiunta l’opzione di ironing sulle superfici superiori per migliorare la qualità finale della stampa e ottenere layer superiori più lisci, puliti e rifiniti.

Questo aggiornamento aiuta il modello ad avere un aspetto più curato, soprattutto sulle superfici visibili, rendendolo ancora più adatto a una scrivania gaming, una mensola o un angolo setup.

È stato inoltre aggiunto il supporto per PS5, offrendo più flessibilità in base al proprio setup e al tipo di controller/display che si vuole utilizzare.

🔥 UPDATE – ADD-ON PAGODA TOWER PORTACUFFIE

Il progetto si espande con un nuovo add-on opzionale Pagoda Tower per utilizzare il modello anche come supporto per cuffie da gaming.

L’add-on è stato progettato come estensione modulare del supporto controller originale con Torii Gate. Può essere stampato insieme al modello principale oppure anche in un secondo momento, se hai già stampato la versione solo porta controller.

Il portacuffie si inserisce nei punti di fissaggio già presenti sulla base del Torii Gate, mantenendo pulito il design originale e aggiungendo una pagoda tower più alta dietro alla struttura del torii.

Puoi utilizzare il progetto in due modi:

✅ Solo come supporto controller
✅ Come display completo per controller e cuffie
✅ Add-on modulare stampabile anche in seguito
✅ Perfetto per completare un setup gaming

Questa aggiunta rende il modello più versatile, più scenografico e molto più funzionale.

🧩 DESIGN MODULARE

Il progetto è stato pensato per essere flessibile.

Puoi usare il modello principale come supporto per controller, oppure aggiungere la Pagoda Tower per trasformarlo in un display completo per controller e cuffie.

L’add-on può essere stampato anche in un secondo momento, quindi non è necessario ristampare tutto il modello se hai già realizzato la versione originale.

🎨 COLORI CONSIGLIATI

Per un risultato migliore consiglio la stampa multicolore:

• Nero per base, supporto controller, tetti della pagoda e dettagli
• Rosso per la struttura Torii Gate e il corpo della pagoda tower
• Rosa per i dettagli del logo HORIZON 6
• Bianco per l’inserto del logo
• Verde, blu, bianco o colori a scelta per le targhette frontali personalizzate

Questa combinazione di colori dà al modello un forte look gaming, mantenendo ben visibile lo stile ispirato al Giappone.

🖨️ NOTE DI STAMPA

Assicurarsi che il piano di stampa sia pulito per ottenere un primo layer perfetto, soprattutto sulla base, sulle parti del logo e sulle superfici più grandi.

L’ironing sulle superfici superiori è consigliato per ottenere una finitura più liscia e pulita sulle parti visibili.

L’add-on Pagoda Tower portacuffie è progettato per inserirsi nei punti di fissaggio già presenti sulla base del Torii Gate.

Può essere stampato insieme al modello completo oppure in seguito come upgrade separato.

Il nuovo stand universale è progettato per funzionare sia con controller stile Xbox che con controller PS5.

Le targhette frontali personalizzate sono progettate per essere stampate separatamente e incollate sulla parte frontale della nuova versione universale dello stand.

Puoi usare colla cianoacrilica, biadesivo sottile o un altro adesivo adatto in base al materiale e alla finitura scelta.

Se preferisci il design originale, le vecchie versioni degli stand Xbox e PS5 sono ancora incluse e indicate come OLD nel file 3MF.
