Description

Air Traffic Control Strip Board

This modular Flight Strip Board System is a fully 3D printable setup inspired by real-world air traffic control flight progress boards. It uses sliding strip holders mounted onto rail-based tiles, allowing you to organise, move and manage strips quickly and easily.

Designed with modularity in mind, the board prints in separate sections so it works within the build volume of consumer printers such as the Bambu Lab P1/P2/X1 series. Individual tiles connect together to create larger boards and can be expanded or rearranged as required.

Features:
• Modular tile system – print as many sections as you need
• Sliding strip holders for quick movement and organisation
• Side-loading strip design with retaining lip to keep strips secure
• Designed for PLA and PETG printing
• Easy to expand and customise

While inspired by aviation and ATC environments, this isn’t just for controllers.

Perfect for:

✈️ VATSIM and virtual ATC setups
✈️ Flight simulation enthusiasts
🎨 Hobby and project tracking
📝 To-do lists and workflow management
🏢 Office task boards and scheduling

The system can be adapted for almost anything that benefits from movable labels or cards.

If you print one, I’d love to see your setup and any remixes or improvements. Feel free to upload makes, leave feedback and share your ideas.

Boost Me (for free)

I'm still new to 3D printing so if you enjoy this model please consider boosting as this will help me with at least some filament that was used to design/create this project. Many thanks!
