Print Profile(1)

Description
Why this project
Tired of seeing an old laptop and external hard drives gathering dust (or worse, serving as doorstops) Me too I know perfectly well that making a NAS with USB drives and an old laptop is not the most academic or ideal configuration in the world But it's free it's total recycling and it gives a second life to equipment that would have ended up in the landfill
Technical design specifics
This model was entirely designed in OpenSCAD and optimized for perfect, support-free printing on Bambu Lab P1S/X1C type machines
Total Modularity ("Stackable")
Tongue and groove interlocking system without any screws You print as many tiers as you have hard drives

Integrated Laptop Support
The base module directly integrates a vertical perforated shoe (internal width of $25\text{ mm}$ ) to slide in the laptop that serves as the NAS brain thus optimizing desk space

Thermal Management (Airflow)
The enclosure uses a honeycomb pattern on the sides and drawers to maximize passive ventilation The base integrates a cross-lattice roof to isolate the dock while saving a maximum of filament

Extractable Drawers
Designed to accommodate external hard drives (max internal dimensions per bay $195 \times 150 \times 32\text{ mm}$ ) The drawers have an ergonomic handle on the front
