Description
I designed this water cooling jacket for 2958 inrunner marine brushless motors. It is thinner than the original, suitable for scenarios with limited installation space. The plastic parts will not scratch the paint and are less likely to cut the seal. Durability is unknown, but since it's inexpensive, it's worth a try. It features internal helical water channels to guide water flow fully across the motor's outer surface. You will need to purchase a 31x1.5mm outer diameter silicone O-ring and M4 water nozzles for assembly. Refer to the attached diagram for the motor insertion direction; insert from the side with chamfers on both inner and outer edges. It is recommended to insert the motor tail first to more effectively prevent O-ring deformation. Assembly tolerances are set for Bambu ABS material, printed in an enclosed chamber but without active heating, and can be perfectly installed on Rocket 2958 motors, and of course, also on 2968 motors.
In any case, it is recommended to pressure test before installation on the boat to prevent leaks. Wishing you a successful maiden voyage!
