Kreg XL and Makita DRT 50ZX4 + Fixed Base

Kreg XL Guide Rail

1. Remove the original fixed base plate from your Makita DRT 50ZX4 18V router
   Replace it with this plate using the same 4 screws

2. You can then use your Kreg XL guide rail to control the router mounted on a fixed base
To cut a straight groove in your workpiece

3. I have included a 60mm handle designed to be screwed on with 2 M3 screws via 2 threaded inserts (M3x8x5) into the handle base
You can perfectly well not use the handle at all, it's not strictly necessary, just a bit more convenient

5. Using a 4-inch or 100mm clamp jaw top can help you hold the Kreg XL rail in place

6. I printed with Bambu ABS or ASA for a model with 3 walls and 15% gyroid infill
