Description

*UPDATE* I just added new profiles with a better fitting nose peg: ‘Flexi Cow 1 Nozzle -Better fitting nose’ and ‘Flexi Cow 2 Nozzle -Better fitting nose.’ I also added an A1 with AMS profile: ‘Flexi Cow for A1 w AMS,’ for those that want to print the full color version on the A1.

The farm series is expanding into new territory! Based on my signature cartoon cow design (complete with that classic grumpy expression), this is a fully articulated "flexi" model.

It is incredibly flexible, capable of bending completely in half, and features a dense, satisfying weight that makes it a fantastic fidget toy or desk pet. Whether you print it in a classic black-and-white pattern or go wild with solid colors, this cow is ready to wiggle straight into your collection!

Key Features

Super Flexible: Carefully engineered joints allow for a huge range of motion. It can wiggle, bend back on itself, or just sploot adorably on your desk.

Satisfying Weight: Designed with a solid, substantial feel in the hand—not just a flimsy shell!

Multiple Print Profiles: I've created specific files depending on your printer's capabilities so everyone can enjoy this model.

Printing & Assembly

This is a challenging print on the A1 and A1 Mini because of the rapid bed movement (the taller middle pieces can get knocked loose), so I turned on ‘Slow Down by Height’ in the print profile. I also changed the fill to gyroid and turned on ‘Z Hop’ in the filament settings. If you have problems with it you may need to slow it down even more.

I set all body files to ‘No Brim’ because a brim would be extremely difficult to remove from all the small flexi pieces.

Be sure to remove the ear support after printing (all versions) and the eye socket supports on the 1 nozzle version. Also remove the small built-in support on the Nose file (1 and 2 Nozzle versions).

The pieces all press-fit together. Just add a tiny drop of glue to make it permanent.

Looks like an adhesion issue-- the first layer just didn't stick in that area. I would clean the build plate, cove the print area with glue and try again. Let me know if that helps.

Sorry, that probably means those pieces came loose during printing. It’s especially a problem for A1 printers because of the bed movement, but it can happen on any printer. Definitely use glue and you may have to slow the print down even more. There is a setting in Bambu Studio on the device page that allows you to slow the printing by 50% (that's the only option), but it's only available after printing has started. Let me know if that helps.

Fun! The monochrome version printed perfectly with my A1 and the default settings. The only issue was that the nose piece was too tight to go into the head, but that was easily rectified with some sandpaper and a knife.

this print is AWESOME! I had to use nano adhesive on my PEI build plate to get the tiny flexy pieces to stick to the bed plate.

Bed Adhesion Issue:I had issues with this model twice. the second time it almost finished and I was able to salvage it with a utility knife and clippers.

Yeah, the flexis are a challenge because each piece has a small base, so a small connection to the plate. All you can do is use glue and continue to slow down the printing. Looks good, though, I love the color!
