🌵 The Honest Shelf Vol. 85 // Milo the Knitted Cactus 🌵

Bring a touch of cozy nature to your desk without ever needing to water it! Meet Milo, your new smiling companion. ✨

I have been working hard behind the scenes because I wanted to create something completely different for this addition to the series. This time, I’m introducing a brand new style: a beautifully textured, 3D-printed knitted cactus!

I designed this cute little character as a two-part model. You print the happy, little pot separately from the cactus insert. The cactus features a highly detailed, ribbed "amigurumi" crochet texture and is perfectly optimized for AMS/multicolor printing so you can give it a cute face. It simply drops right into the pot—you can leave it loose or secure it with a tiny drop of glue.

Whether you need a cheerful desk buddy, a zero-maintenance succulent for your living room decor, or the perfect cute DIY gift for Mother's Day and birthdays, Milo fits perfectly into any cozy or Japandi style space.

šŸŽØ Color & Material Guide: For the absolute best results, I highly recommend using Matte PLA or Wood-filled PLA for the pot! Matte finishes, earth tones, terracotta colors, or wood textures give the pot an incredible, premium feel that hides layer lines and perfectly contrasts the deep green of the knitted cactus.

šŸ› ļø Print Settings (FDM Optimized):

  • Material: PLA (Matte, Wood, or Terracotta colors highly recommended for the pot).
  • Multicolor: The cactus is AMS-ready for the eyes and smile.
  • Infill: 10-15% (Gyroid works perfectly).
  • Walls: 2 walls for durability.
  • Assembly: Simply place the knitted cactus into the pot. Add superglue if you want it permanently fixed.

Join "The Honest Shelf" Collection ā¤ļø This is the 85th addition to my series of functional, honest designs. I focus on creating decor that is as easy to print as it is beautiful to look at. Follow my profile to complete your set!
