A modern matte black Cha He inspired by traditional tea culture 🍃
Perfect for presenting, weighing, and pouring loose leaf tea or coffee beans ☕
Minimalist asymmetrical design with a calm stone-like aesthetic.

OBSIDIAN CHA HE 🍵

A refined tea presentation vessel inspired by traditional East Asian tea culture — reimagined through modern minimalist design. ✨

The Obsidian Cha He is designed to elevate the quiet ritual of tea preparation. Its flowing asymmetrical silhouette allows tea leaves to be presented, observed, weighed, and transferred with calm precision. 🍃

Traditionally used during gongfu tea sessions, a Cha He gives tea leaves space to breathe before brewing — allowing their shape, aroma, and texture to be fully appreciated. The Obsidian interpretation combines this timeless ritual with a modern sculptural form and minimalist aesthetic.

Perfect for:

  • loose leaf tea presentation 🍵
  • weighing tea before brewing ⚖️
  • displaying premium tea leaves
  • measuring or presenting coffee beans
  • minimalist tea setups & desk decor

The matte black finish and organic stone-like geometry create a soft contrast that beautifully highlights the texture and color of tea leaves — from dark roasted oolongs to delicate green teas. 🌑

Designed with both aesthetics and everyday usability in mind, the Obsidian Cha He features:

  • a stable flat base
  • smooth ergonomic pouring geometry
  • a lightweight yet durable structure
  • an easy-to-clean interior surface

Its asymmetrical flowing profile was carefully shaped to feel natural in the hand while maintaining a calm and balanced visual presence.

Whether used during a focused gongfu tea session, for weighing coffee beans, or simply as a sculptural display piece, the Obsidian Cha He brings a sense of stillness and intention to the preparation ritual.

Features ✨

  • Modern asymmetrical Cha He design
  • Ideal for tea leaves and coffee beans
  • Matte black minimalist aesthetic
  • Smooth pouring edge
  • Lightweight & durable
  • Designed for modern tea culture

“A quiet moment before the pour.” 🍃

Other Issues:prints ok but it’s not all it’s hyped to be. description makes a big deal of its design and how it presents but it’s not all that when printed.

Thanks for the feedback I’m glad the print itself worked correctly. The design is intentionally very minimal/minimalistic, so I understand that it may not match everyone’s expectations in person. I also tried to show the final result as accurately as possible through the uploaded photos. Aside from the thumbnail render, the other images are photos of actual printed versions. I still appreciate you giving it a try and sharing your thoughts.

hi again. the print was fine but, you emphasised the aesthetic. even your product’s page was all about aesthetics. and that’s great. I think your product design was let down by its lines, particularly the angle between the base and the side wall. if you’re interested, I think something that is all curves would achieve what you’re after. no angle at the base, the profile of the side wall, and how that wall finishes at the top. people, generally, are drawn to curves and the most beautiful cha he are all curves, as well as functional. hope to see a series from you!
