Description
This tool was developed to carefully re-bend the metal contacts of Carrera Digital 132, Evolution and Digital 124 tracks.
Over time, the contacts in the tracks can give way slightly or sit too flat. This often leads to contact problems, voltage drops, or vehicles no longer running smoothly over certain track sections.
With this bending aid, the contacts can be lifted in a controlled and even manner, so that the connection between the track sections sits better again and power transmission works more reliably.

How to use / Application
- De-energize the track.
- Carefully place the tool on the metal contact.
- Slowly re-bend the contact with little force.
- Do not bend too much — rather work in small steps.
- Reconnect the tracks and do a test run.
Important: Do not overbend the contacts. The metal tabs can wear out or break if bent too often or with too much force.
Print Settings Recommendation
Material: PETG recommended, PLA also works
Layer Height: 0.20 mm
Walls/Perimeters: 3–4
Infill: 30–50 %
Supports: usually not needed depending on orientation
Brim: optional, if bed adhesion is not perfect
For a durable tool, I would recommend PETG, ASA, or another slightly tougher material. PLA is fine for occasional use but can break more easily under heavier stress.
