If you print it, rate it. I put in the work. Rating helps me to keep doing that. I recommend using my print profiles for best results. They are setup and ready to print. Just select your filaments and the correct buildplate. I would also recommend reading below in full.  Send me a message if you have questions.

Important:

1. If you want to change filament manually without an AMS or MMU, just replace the filament changes in my print profile with pauses on the same layer.

    

2. You CANNOT adjust the Z scaling on a Hueforge. It will not come out as intended. You can change the X and Y values to scale the picture up or down though. (To print it on the A1 Mini, scale it down to 180 x 180 or less. Only scale the X and Y. Not the Z).

    

3. To ensure that the print looks the same as mine you must use the same filaments I did (listed below). If you do not, your results will not be exactly the same as shown. (It may still turn out great…..or it may not). 

    

4. I have used a height range modifier for quicker printing. The layer swaps will not match the swap instructions below when using my print profile. Do not worry about this. Just hit print.

    

5. Please ensure your filament flow ratios are properly calibrated to get the best results.

    

6. You may see a floating regions error. This can be ignored.

    

7. What you see in the slicer will not accurately show the final result. Do not worry about this. Hueforge uses colour blending, but it does not show in the slicer.

Printing Instructions

Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.04mm with a base layer of 0.2mm.

Remember to select the correct plate type for your printer.

PLA BambuLab Basic Maroon Red  Transmission Distance: 1.5
PLA BambuLab Basic Blue Gray  Transmission Distance: 2.3
PLA BambuLab Tough+ White  Transmission Distance: 6.4
 

Swap Instructions (If not using my print profile):
Start with Black
At layer #20 (0.96mm) swap to Maroon Red
At layer #24 (1.12mm) swap to Charcoal
At layer #27 (1.24mm) swap to Blue Gray
At layer #33 (1.48mm) swap to White for the rest.
