Description
Description: Invisible trophy mount for roe deer skulls
This 3D-printed mount is designed for secure and concealed attachment of a roe deer skull to a trophy shield. The printed system consists of a central connecting element and two pointed threaded pins that act as a clamp inside the skull
Additionally required hardware:
- 1x M5 Hex Screw (choose length according to wood board thickness)
- 1x M5 Nut
⚠️ Important note for 3D printing: When printing the side screws/threaded pins, excellent layer adhesion (layer bonding) must be ensured. These components are subjected to high tensile forces when the middle part is pulled against the wooden board using the M5 screw. To prevent the threads from tearing along the layers (Z-axis) under tension or due to the weight of the trophy, printing temperature and cooling should be optimized for maximum component stability. A tough material (such as PETG) is recommended here
