THE SHINING INFINITE MIRROR - 3D PRINTABLE FILES

PLEASE READ THE WORD FILE BEFORE YOU START PRINTING OR ASKING ANY QUESTIONS!

This is not a proyect for everyone. There will be some needs of gluing, painting the floor pattern, creating the mirror with acrilic and polorized film, led lights circuit. Everything is shown and explained in the word file but its only a guide and not a step by step image explaination.

If you decide to put it together, you´ll love it! 

In my build I painted most parts because i belive it gives it a touch of realism. But the 3mf file was design to be able to print almost everything with the correct color selection. The only parts that will need paint are the 2 floor files, the name “THE SHINING” on both sides of the box and in you wish, the Overlock Hedge Maze on the top part of the box. The size of it didn´t give me space to color it on the slicer for plates of 260 x 260 x 260 or lower. If you have a builtplate of over that size, you may give color to the box (THE SHINING on both sides and THE MAZE).

The file “FLOOR-PATTERN-GUIDE” is a great help for painting the inside front and back floor. I tried to paint it with a piece of sponge and it was a mess with a very bad result. So I traced the pattern using the guide and an acrilic fine point marker and the painted with regular size acrilic marker. Pattern was traced with white “Posca” marker and painted with cheap acrilic chinese markers.

Before complaining or saying “it doesn´t fit!”, “parts don´t match!”… I made it and was able to put it together with no issue at all, but its not a “snap together perfect fit” proyect. So please remember it will take days of printing, gluing, ironing together parts helps alot, etc. Any doubts during the process, just leave a comment or open a chat box and I will guide you through as best as I can….. But remember….. ALL WORK AND NO PLAY MAKES JACK A DULL BOY!
