⚾ Junior – “The Kid” Retro Starting Lineup Style Statue
If you grew up in the 90s, you probably remember those legendary Starting Lineup figures sitting on bedroom shelves, desks, or packed into toy bins after backyard baseball games. This print is a tribute to that era — featuring one of the smoothest swings baseball has ever seen.
This stylized statue captures “The Kid” during his iconic Mariners years, complete with:
- Signature backwards hat
- Swingman logo details
- Classic jersey styling
- Oversized retro figure proportions inspired by vintage Starting Lineup collectibles
- Dynamic follow-through swing pose
The goal was to recreate that nostalgic sports collectible feel while making it printable and display-friendly for modern setups.
This model works great as:

The sculpt has intentionally exaggerated features to match the old-school collectible figure style rather than aiming for hyper realism.
🖨️ Printing Notes
- Multi-color print recommended for the full effect
- Can also be printed single color and painted
- Adaptive layer height helps smooth curves and facial details
- Larger scale prints will improve fine detail visibility
Note: The time posted in the pictures was for an H2D dual AMS setup with 2 colors per nozzle. It will work with a single nozzle and standard AMS setups as well.
