Cross Stitch Grid - Parametric

A fully parametric cross stitch base generator with customizable shapes, sizes, and hole counts.

Available shapes:

• Square / Rectangle
• Round
• Oval
• Hexagon

Customizable parameters:

• Width and height in mm
• Border width
• Base thickness
• Number of holes (automatic or manual)

How to use:

• Set the shape and dimensions
• Leave cells at 0 for automatic hole calculation based on size and border
• Set cells manually to fix the number of holes — the base will adapt its size automatically
• Hole size (1.26mm) and spacing (0.84mm) are fixed to standard cross stitch canvas proportions

Included PDF patterns: Two embroidery patterns are included as PDF files to get you started:

• The Great Wave off Kanagawa — inspired by Hokusai's iconic woodblock print
• Koi Fish — a classic Japanese motif perfect for decorative pieces

Both patterns are shown on a stamp-shaped frame, also included as a separate file. The stamp border adds a charming finishing touch and can be printed in a different color from the grid.
