Peugeot Speedfight drum brake AC cover
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is a self-designed wheel hub cover / rim cap for the rear axle of a Peugeot Speedfight scooter (suitable for models with AC / air cooling and rear drum brake).
Since the original covers have often faded, scratched, or simply gone missing over the years, I designed this replacement part. It protects the rear wheel hub from dirt and moisture and gives the scooter a clean, well-maintained original look again.
Features & Advantages
- 100% Custom Build: Perfectly adapted to the dimensions of the Speedfight rear wheel hub (drum brake).
- Clean Look: Covers the unsightly nut and axle of the rear wheel.
- Easy Print: Optimized for 3D printing without complicated overhangs.
Print Recommendations (Print Settings)
Since the component on the scooter is directly exposed to weather, UV radiation, and also the heat of the brake/hub, I recommend the following settings:
- Material: PETG, ASA or ABS (PLA is not weather-resistant and can deform in summer heat or brake warmth).
- Infill: 20% to 30% (Grid or Gyroid for good stability).
- Walls: At least 3 or 4 for a robust structure.
- Support: Depending on the orientation of your printing plate, minimal support may be necessary (you can see this in the slicer).
