Meteor 900 Hand-launched Aircraft
Print Profile(1)

Description
Description
The Meteor 900 hand-launched aircraft is a V-tail racing aircraft with 16 printed parts for the entire model, including a complete bill of materials. The center of gravity reference point is the protrusion under the wing. The assembly joints have alignment holes, and toothpicks can be cut to serve as alignment pins. It is easy to print and assemble. The printed parts feature engraved lines for painting, allowing for simple aesthetic customization with acrylic brushes.
Print Settings:
Recommended to print with ABS-ASA. The fuselage and tail use 1 wall with 3% infill, and the main wing uses 1 wall with 2% infill. Reinforcement parts have been added in the file for areas that require strengthening; please print these modified parts with 2 walls and 5% infill.
Electronics Configuration:
Uses a 4S1550mah battery and supports motors with 16*16 and 19*19 mounting hole patterns. It can accommodate up to 7-inch propellers. The printed empty aircraft weighs approximately 400g.
The author's test aircraft used a 2306.5 1850KV motor, a 7045 two-blade propeller, and a 4S1550mah battery, achieving a takeoff weight of 850g. With a thrust-to-weight ratio exceeding 3, hand-launching is not difficult. Due to the aircraft's bottom surface and flight controller mounting surface not being perfectly level, the flight controller's pitch axis should be set at a -2 degree angle when the aircraft is placed flat. The author's maiden flight of this aircraft was quite successful, demonstrating significant power redundancy, controllable speed, and suitability for both FPV and visual flying. The FPV base utilizes another O4L quick-release printed part from my homepage. Finally, enjoy your flights and avoid crashes!
