AnySize Parametric Drawer Organizer – No more wasted space!

Do you know this feeling You're looking for an organizer for your drawer, but the standard dimensions never fit perfectly There are always annoying gaps at the edges That's over now!

This model is fully parametric and can be precisely adjusted to the millimeter for any drawer, any tool, and any purpose Whether for the kitchen, desk, workshop, or makeup – you determine the dimensions

✨ What you can customize (Fully Parametric):

Since the dimensions are based on the external measurements, you can perfectly equip your drawer without gaps:

  • Width & Length: Centimeter-precise fit for your drawer division
  • Height: Utilize the full depth of your drawer
  • Wall & Bottom Thickness: From ultra-light and material-saving to extremely robust for heavy tools
  • Corner Radius: Decide for yourself how round or angular your boxes will be
  • Chamfers: Stylish, rounded or beveled edges for a modern look and easy removal

📏 How to easily measure your drawer:

You don't need a complicated CAD course Simply use the MakerWorld Customizer (or OpenSCAD) and follow this simple formula:

  1. Measure the internal width and internal depth of your drawer
  2. Consider how many boxes should fit side-by-side/one behind the other
  3. Calculation: Drawer width / Number of desired boxes = Your box width
  4. Enter the value into the Customizer – done!

Example: Your drawer is 400 mm wide and you want 4 boxes side-by-side 400 mm / 4 = Each box must be exactly 100 mm wide

🖨️ Print Recommendations (Print Settings):

  • Filament: PLA (completely sufficient), PETG (for the workshop/dishwasher) or ASA/ABS
  • Infill: 10–25% (as the walls are usually thin, printing often occurs purely from perimeters)
  • Perimeters: 2–3 (depending on desired stability)
  • Support: Absolutely no support needed!

There is also a version available with a lid (magnetic)

Because someone first has to create the model before you can make those settings in the editor. This model is, after all, mine. But you are right: you don't have to use my model; you can draw the whole thing yourself. It just takes longer.

Hey Dave, I think there might be a bit of a misunderstanding about how parametric/customisable models work. The whole point of platforms like MakerWorld is that most people don't use CAD — they want to download something and tweak it to their needs without having to design from scratch. If you could design everything yourself, you probably wouldn't need an account there in the first place! That's exactly the audience these models are built for.

Seems so simple, but is far better than just resizing and saves so much filament/space when compared to gridfinity for a simple drawer (did our office). I am hooked.

Looks very good. I think if you're filling the drawer anyway, Gridfinity makes little sense. Unnecessarily long printing time and filament consumption. But still a nice system. I am also satisfied with mine :)

What exactly isn't fitting? You determine the thickness yourself during customization

@FSKhardcore I think he does this to a bunch of models, don't worry, if you look at his community post history, there are a lot of comments which are no longer available

Replying to @ThunderBreak0 :
Thank you for the encouragement and motivation. I just find this kind of thing frustrating. I try to keep the quality of my models high. And I am open to criticism, but only if it is truthful. Thank you

And to think i was using something like this but had grid bottoms on that I was removing the bottoms so I wasnt limited to Grid. No sense in using grid if you fill a drawer and if even if I dont use the whole drawer, I use double sided tape to hold it down. I will use yours from now on. Thank you

Thanks for the feedback. Glad you like it. Although the Gridfiniti system also has its justification, of course.

This is exactly what I needed to help me design and make simple trays for my toolbox to organize my drill bits. Everything else I have seen uses way too much filament. Once I have made a few of these and put them into my toolbox, I will take a picture.

This was always my problem, I could never find a generator that could implement all my desired settings. Either too many settings or too few. If you have any suggestions for improvement, feel free to write them
