Description

Prototype of Auxetic metamaterial which I made to demonstrate how auxetic metamaterials work. For better properties of structure, use flexible material.

Auxetic material

If you pull on the auxetic metamaterial its cross section will get wider, instead of getting thinner as it's with conventional materials. these samples are only 2-dimensional, which means it has auxetic proprties only in two dimensions.
