Description

I could not find a free model of Lace's pin from ‘Hollow Knight: Silksong’ that was accurate and available as different .stls, so I made it myself. It is not perfectly accurate to the game (as far as that is possible anyway) but I am very happy with it. The mesh is well enough optimized and detailed enough to make a smaller or bigger print.

I printed it on my customized Ender5pro without the connector pieces (just cutting the complete thing in my slicer, halfing the handle as well) perfectly fine. With some aftercare (gluing, filling, sanding, painting & coating) it came out extremely pretty. I used black Bambu PLA Basic. Some hints:

  • When printing on an A1 or any printer with a moving printbed, you might want to print the thinnest section of the pin seperately, or slow down the move speed of the printbed or split it again.
  • The tolerances of the allignment parts/connector pieces depends on a variety of factors, including filament and scaling, so please adjust and reprint those pieces if neccesary.

Since I usually use Pruse sliver and Makerworld does not accept non-BambuStudio .m3f files, a friend helped me generating the file. It should work just fine.

Please let me know if there are any issues for you, so I can make adjustements. This is my first upload, so please mind I am still figuring out this platform and its tools.

Take Care :)
