Description

This holder was designed to organise a 15-piece 3/8" drive metric crow's foot spanner set in a Gridfinity drawer system. It was specifically measured for the Renegade Industrial RI38MC15 metric crow's foot set, and should be compatible with any 15-piece metric crow's foot spanner set of the same drive size covering 10–26mm.

Each slot has a tapered lead-in chamfer (except 10mm and 11mm which drop in freely) to guide the spanner in without needing to be precisely aligned. The slot depth was measured directly from the actual tools, so the spanners sit at the correct depth with the jaw proud of the rim and easy to grab.

Footprint 2 × 6 Gridfinity units (84 × 252mm). Fits standard Gridfinity baseplates with 0.6mm clearance per side on the stacking tabs.

Three-colour print Follows the standard workshop colour convention — blue body for metric, white labels. Colour changes at:

  • Layer 91 — grey → blue (chamfer band)
  • Layer 103 — blue → white (raised labels)

(At 0.24mm layer height with 0.2mm first layer — adjust if using a different layer height)

Print settings

  • Layer height: 0.24mm (0.2mm first layer)
  • Walls: 4
  • Infill: 15% grid
  • Supports: none required
  • Material: PETG recommended

Customisation The SCAD file is fully parametric. CUSTOM_TEXT lets you add your own identifier to the rear panel. GF_CLEARANCE can be adjusted if the tabs need more or less clearance for your baseplate (0.6mm works well on a Bambu Lab P2S with PETG). CHAMFER_D controls the width of the coloured chamfer band.

Companion model A matching 11-piece imperial holder (2 × 5 Gridfinity, red body) is also available. Both holders are designed to sit side by side in the same drawer.
