Print Instructions & Recommendations
To get the absolute best visual result and avoid any bleeding of colors, please follow these guidelines:
- Printer: Optimized for Bambu Lab P2S (AMS highly recommended for seamless transitions).
- Layer Height: 0.08mm is strongly recommended for the best detail resolution (First layer: 0.16mm).
- Infill: 100% Rectilinear (Crucial for filament paintings/lithophanes to ensure the correct opacity and color blending).
- Wall Loops: 2 or 3 for clean borders.
Filament & Color Transition Guide
This model uses 3 colors. You can use any brand, but Silk or Metallic filaments for the gold will make the reflection pop beautifully.
Recommended Color Setup (from bottom to top):
- Base / Background: Black (Matte or Basic)
- Detail / Mid-tone: Silk Gold (or Bronze/Copper)
- Highlights / Top Contours: White (Basic or Jade White)
If you are using the raw STL instead of the 3MF profile, make sure to slice with a 0.08mm layer height and set your filament change points based on the slicer preview to separate the background, the gold body, and the white highlights.
