Description
The "Cockatoo" is a porcelain figure from the Munich delicatessen restaurant Käfer, which has developed into a curious cult figure and the ultimate good luck charm for FC Bayern Munich.
After a championship celebration, Bayern players spontaneously took the decorative bird from the restaurant. When the mascot reappeared on the podium during the most recent title defense in 2026, owner Michael Käfer promptly gifted the figure to the record champion. Since then, the bird has become indispensable. It is a permanent locker room member and is looked after by assistant coach Aaron Danks.
