Description
Oil Drum Drip Tray Holder / Workshop Mount
This is a functional and sturdy holder for standard oil drums in the workshop. It securely fixes the drip tray (the small metal tray under the spout) of the oil dispensing gun to the rim of the drum. No more oil stains and annoying dripping onto the clean drum lid!
⚙️ Features & Benefits
- Perfect Fit: Precisely designed for the distinctive rim of standardized 208-liter steel drums.
- Clean Workshop: Keeps the oil gun's spout exactly over the drip tray. No more oil puddles on the drum.
- Secure Hold: The clamp is designed so that the tray does not slip, even with vibrations or when setting down the gun.
- Robust Design: Extra reinforced zones for tough everyday use in automotive and industrial workshops.
🔧 Print Recommendations
Since the component will be in permanent contact with oils and must maintain mechanical clamping tension, you should choose the following settings:
- Material Tip: PETG, ASA or ABS.
(Please do not use PLA! PLA becomes brittle over time from constant contact with mineral oils/lubricants, breaks easily, and quickly loses its clamping force). - Infill: 25% – 40%
- Walls (Wall Loops): At least 3 – 4 .
🛠️ Required Hardware
For assembly and secure clamping to the drum rim, the following parts are needed:
- 2x M6 x 60 mm screw
- 2x M6 nut
- 4x M6 washers (to protect the printed part)
If this functional print helps you at work and keeps your workshop clean, I would be thrilled to receive a good rating and a photo of your printed holder in use! Happy printing!
