Cute Little Hamster - NO AMS

Since I now have more bear models than some people have socks in their closet, I just had to make something different today. 🐻➡️🐹

May I introduce: the cute little hamster! And yes… it's actually my first NO AMS model – so please be gentle if the cuts here and there don't look like they were personally polished by a Swiss precision robot. 😄

But don't worry: assembly still works flawlessly! (After what felt like five print attempts and a small emotional crisis, I finally found the perfect settings. 😂)

Everything was printed with Bambu Lab PLA Matte, and with this filament, I can guarantee you a smooth assembly. However, if you use a different filament, some parts might form "close friendships" or suddenly want more distance than planned. 😅

Of course, you can go wild with the colors – realistic hamster, zombie hamster, galaxy hamster, or radioactive neon hamster… I won't judge. 🌈🐹

By the way, I didn't have to glue anything on my model because the tolerances fit perfectly. But if you want to play it safe or just enjoy working with glue like a mad scientist, you are welcome to use some.

The hamster has a size of approximately 100 mm but can be scaled as desired. However, the old 3D printing wisdom applies: "With great scaling come great tolerance problems." 😄

Support is, of course, needed but can be removed without issues. The only important things are:
✨ clean print bed
✨ calibrated printer
✨ no offerings to the print god needed (optional)

Everything was printed with a 0.4 nozzle:

• Model: 0.16 layer height
• Individual parts: 0.12 layer height

In the next few days, a print profile for the H2C will also be available.

The first print profile prints by object and therefore consists of only two plates. Print profile number 2 prints by layer – it takes longer, but your printer will also be kept busy and won't get bored. 😄
