Parametric OpenSCAD customizer for standard-compliant flange gaskets per EN 1092-1 / EN 1514-1 and ASME B16.5. Simply select the standard, nominal size and pressure rating – all gasket dimensions (ID, OD, bolt circle, bolt holes) are automatically calculated from built-in standard tables. A free custom mode is available for non-standard flanges.

 

🔩 Supported standards:
- EN 1092-1 / EN 1514-1: DN 10 – DN 500, PN 6 / 10 / 16 / 25 / 40
- ASME B16.5: NPS ½" – 24", Class 150 / 300 / 600
- Custom: any ID / OD / bolt circle / number of holes / hole diameter

 

📐 All four sealing face types supported:
- IBC (Inner Bolt Circle / Raised Face): most common type, OD = BC − bolt dia., no bolt holes in gasket
- FF (Full Face): OD = flange OD, bolt holes punched out – typical for cast iron flanges
- SR (Male-Female): gasket sits on male face, OD = raised section OD
- TG (Tongue & Groove): ID and OD defined by groove geometry

 

🔧 Additional parameters:
- Gasket thickness and tolerances for bore and bolt holes freely adjustable
- Optional sealing bead: semi-elliptic ring on the sealing face that concentrates bolt load on a narrow line for significantly higher local surface pressure – especially effective at low torque. Position (inner / center / outer), height and one- or two-sided selectable.
- First bolt hole angle adjustable (default 45° per EN 1092-1 / ASME B16.5)
- Optional engraving of standard designation

 

🖨️ Print note:
The photo shows a test print in PETG – excellent print quality, ideal for dimensional verification and as a cutting template. However, TPU 95A (or softer) is strongly recommended for actual sealing use:
- TPU 100% infill (Solid) – mandatory for sealing!
- Layer height 0.15 mm
- min. 4 perimeters / walls
- Print speed 25–40 mm/s
- After printing, briefly lap sealing faces on 400 grit sandpaper for optimal sealing performance

 

⚠️ For low-pressure applications only (water, air, mild chemicals, max. ~3–5 bar). Do not use for steam, high pressure, aggressive media or safety-critical applications!
