RC Remote Control Jet-powered CB-90 High-Speed Assault Boat
Print Profile(3)

Description
This is a simulated boat model using a 5-inch FPV drone power system for jet propulsion. I have partially simplified it for FDM 3D printing, omitting many details. Also, due to limited reference materials and considering power modifications, the scale is not entirely accurate. If you are an enthusiast who highly pursues realism, you can add some handmade details to make it look more beautiful
I have made the jet thruster part an independent project and released it. You can find it on my homepage here: https://makerworld.com.cn/en/models/2512130-for-5-inch-fpv-drone-power-24mm#profileId-2878467 This is because I will be continuously creating other boat models using this power system in the future
For this model, I designed both single-engine and dual-engine configurations. The only difference lies in the independent stern section. It also features a bulkhead structure and more anti-sinking sandwich layers formed by hollow infill
By opening the model page in a web browser, you can find STP templates for the stern and cockpit in all CAD files, making it easy for you to edit and adapt them for more power types or DIY FPV cockpits
The printing materials used are Bambu Lab official PLA and Sanlu PETG. If you are looking for better structural strength, it is recommended to switch to ABS or ASA, or PETG yourself
Hardware
About 10 copper tubes with 3mm inner diameter, 4mm outer diameter, and 15mm length for water cooling pipe connections
A pack of M2x8 self-tapping screws (these are usually sold by weight in hardware stores)
8 cylindrical magnets 6x3mm for fixing the cockpit
Prepare some counterweights. Actual tests show that the printed hull with 4S2P cylindrical batteries has a draft of only 3cm. For realism and better navigation posture, an additional 100 to 500g of counterweight might be needed
Silicone soft tubes with 3mm inner diameter or 4mm can also be used
