Description
This is a simple, quick-print j-shelf that attaches to the wall using command strips. I designed this shelf to keep my sewing patterns on display but off my cutting tables---I'm an “out of sight out of mind” type person and I wanted to remember what I had! Obviously, though, it's perfect for non-sewers, too: use it to display pictures, artwork, cards, mail, or even small figurines!
Design Elements:
- I've angled the model on the plat to maximize the length! Total shelf length is 290mm (11.4 inches). Shelf depth is about 45mm.
- The back of the shelf has a recessed space to attach the command strips so that the model sits flush to the wall.
- The inner ledge of the shelf is slightly angled towards the front edge so that paper items slide to the front, reducing the risk of them falling off the shelf.
