Ignition Cover for Harley Davidson Sporster 1996-2003
I recommend using ABS for printing as it better withstands outdoor conditions and temperature.
This material also allows for the removal of print lines. Using a container lined with kitchen paper, held with magnets, and impregnating the paper with acetone (please read its proper handling instructions written on the container as it is a chemical product) I used a syringe to impregnate it. Then, place the container covering the part and let the acetone vapors act for a few hours. As minutes pass, the part begins to shine and print lines blur, it may be necessary to apply acetone multiple times as it can evaporate before achieving the ideal result. Once the container is removed, let the part harden for a couple of hours before handling it.
The result is a brighter part without print lines.
I have the cover installed on my motorcycle and it fits perfectly, I hope you like it.
