Description

These are Kratos’ legendary Blades of Chaos from the God of War series.

The blades are designed in life size, and their total length is 807mm.

The sword features an innovative construction with a core made from an M6 threaded rod, which connects all parts into one solid piece without the use of glue.

The Blade_up and Pommel parts are designed with a recessed seat for an M8 lock nut, which is then pressed into the part. The print profile includes pause points for inserting the nuts into both parts.

All parts are connected by a single threaded rod M8 with a length of 710 mm, which is shortened from a 1000 mm rod commonly available in any hobby or hardware store.

The threaded rod gives the sword high strength and additional weight, so it does not feel like just an ordinary toy.

No glue is required to connect the main parts. Everything is held together only by the threaded rod and two lock nuts.

Glue is used only for attaching the eyes (left & right eye) into the Skull_1.

Printed pins (Pin_D8) prevent the individual parts from rotating.

The assembly of the sword is easy – follow the exploded view in the gallery.

I hope you will enjoy the sword.
