Overview
This is a custom-engineered, snap-fit mount designed to securely attach high-security ABUS Granit U-locks directly to the minimalist ACID SIC Rail 28" rear bike carrier found natively on the Cube Nulane FE series (as well as similar Cube gravel/city commuter setups).
It eliminates the need for bulky, loose universal brackets by utilizing the clean, aerodynamic lines of your rear rack while keeping the lock completely rattle-free and instantly accessible.
Design & Material Choice
- Tubing Compatibility: Fits the exact approx. 11mm rails of the integrated ACID SIC rack system.
- Lock Compatibility: Designed precisely around a 14mm shackle profile with dialed-in tolerances to snap in smoothly and hold tight over bumps.
- Material Choice (Crucial): Must be printed in PETG (or ASA). Printing with PETG provides the critical structural elasticity needed for the snap-fit mechanism to flex without breaking during insertion. It also guarantees excellent UV resistance and structural integrity through outdoor temperature extremes. Do not use PLA, as it will deform under constant tension (creep) and fail under outdoor weather conditions.

- 4x M4 Hex Nuts
- 4x M4 Socket Head Cap Screws (10mm or 12mm length)
