Water filling funnel for RVs with 67 mm cap
I have a Dethleffs brand RV – a Globetrotter Xli. For a long time, I've been looking for a water filling funnel that fits the bayonet cap of the filler neck. Unfortunately, almost all are for a cap with a diameter of 77 mm, which is too large for my Dethleffs. For this reason, I have now designed a water filling funnel for RVs with a 67 mm cap. It fits most Dethleffs models from year 2010 onwards.
Printed with PETG and side supports on a P1S.
The supports can be easily removed with small pliers. You might also need a small knife to detach them.
It can of course also be printed with PLA, which will probably be easier. PETG is simply more temperature resistant.
I have also included a gasket made of TPU with a height of 1mm. The height can of course be adjusted if 1mm is not high enough. Furthermore, a small support rod that holds the filler neck cap open so you can calmly pour water into the funnel and are not forced to hold the cap open with one hand.
Caution: Do not place the canister or water container on top of the funnel, the bayonet cap will not withstand it and will break off.
