đŞ The "Hidden Weight" System
Tired of lightweight 3D prints flying off the sink? Iâve designed specific internal cavities to act as a ballast.
- Slice the model and identify the layer where the internal slots are closed (just before the "ceiling" of the cavities).
- Add a Pause at Height (M600 or equivalent) in your slicer.
- During the pause, simply drop coins into the slots.
- Resume the print to seal them permanently inside.
đ¨ď¸ Printing Instructions
- Supports: Not needed.
- Walls: 3-4 walls recommended for durability.
- Infill: 15% (Gyroid recommended).
- Material: PLA, PETG, or ABS. If you plan to use epoxy, standard PLA works perfectly.
- Pause Layer: Check your slicer preview to set the pause right before the slots are covered!
⨠Post-Processing Tip
For the best experience, I highly recommend coating the dish with a layer of clear epoxy resin. Not only does it make the color "pop," but it makes the dish 100% waterproof and incredibly easy to sanitize, preventing soap scum from sticking to the layer lines.
